  • Check out the additional information below on the CLC Fall Festival I received from the CLC Exec VP and the 2018 Fall Festival Chairman Ronnie Hux. The Gilmore in Hickory Corners, Michigan is one of the premier car museum facilities in the United States  hosting numerous car museums including the Cadillac, Lincoln, CCCA, Pierce Arrow and other museums. It is a must see destination for any Cadillac are automobile enthusiast so consider joining us this fall at the Gilmore!

The Museum has successfully held the Fall Festival for many years. But, many have complained about the event. We have listened to members and participants and this year we have enhanced the program. The Fall Festival will begin on Thursday with a bus tour to an outstanding private collection of concours and expensive automobiles (limited to 100). Friday there is a driving tour to South Bend, Indiana, followed by a Gala Reception at the Museum on Friday night.

Saturday, there will be concours judging only; however, cars can be entered for display only on the show field. Our judging teams will include "celebrity" (GM executives current and retired and magazine editors) and experienced CLC judges. Awards will be presented mid-afternoon at drive-by ceremony in front of the Cadillac Museum. The event will conclude Saturday evening with a Celebration Banquet featuring a distinguished speaker and announcement of the CLC Wall of Fame winner.

The Allante will be the featured model this year and we are expecting over 50 of these fine examples of Italian/American crafted automobiles.

For those desiring to stay a little longer, there will be a brunch at the nearby country club Sunday morning or you can enroll in Model T driving lessons at Gilmore Museum (limited to 25).

We ask that all Regions from West Coast to East Coast share this invitation with their members and encourage as many as possible to attend. The Fall Festival is a large source of financial support for your Cadillac Museum and we need many to participate.

    Sincerely,

    Ronnie Hux
    Chairman, 2018 Fall Festival
