I have to confess to all of you that Cheryl and I used our meet-up with you guys Saturday as an excuse to also have a early anniversary getaway! We have our 24th wedding anniversary on April 10th, so the timing was good for us to do an overnight trip and live it up a bit and get an executive room atop the Hilton at University Place across from Ciro's Italian restaurant. For those that did not get to walk around and check out the place, University Place has a large lake with boardwalk, flanked with shops and restaurants. Our first day there was a bit wet and cold, but the next day was brisk but sunny. It is a gorgeous area and would recommend this Hilton or a visit to University Place to anyone. We enjoyed feeding the water fowl and strolling around the lake Sunday and just had a great time.
